It’s the beginning of the end of the Valorant Ignition Series across the world. As the first chapter in Riot’s competitive scene for their newly released First-Person Shooter Valorant comes to a close, teams across the world have one last chance to prove that they’re the best.
For North America, the Ignition Series comes to a close this week with B Site’s Pop Flash tournament. Eight of the top e-sports organizations in North America will be battling it out over five days for $50,000. With TSM winning the last major North American tournament, the Faze Clan Invitational, in a close 3-2 match over Sentinels, teams will be gearing up to contest their throne.
Pop Flash will be structured like last month’s Faze Invitational. The tournament will open in group stages with teams split in-between two groups: Group A (Cloud9, Dignitas, Gen.G, TSM) & Group B (Immortals, Sentinels, T1, Team Envy). Then the top two teams from each group will be seeded into a double elimination playoff.
The action will be split over five days with only the first day of matches announce. All matches will be broadcasted on Flashpoint’s Twitch channel. With VODS available on the Flashpoint YouTube channel.
